USP celebrates 50 years of Information Technology and honors pioneers

The event “Fifty years of Information Technology (IT) at the University of São Paulo” took place on Thursday (June, 18) in Auditorium Prof. István Jancsó, Brasiliana Library and was aimed to celebrate half century of IT at USP, making a historical review of its activities, highlighting its importance in university life and a pre-launch of two new services in the IT environment.
